This ticket is for all three workshops: 10th September- 6-7:30pm, General American. 11th September- 7-8:30pm, Manchester/Lancashire. 12th September- 6-7:30pm, R.P/Standard English.
Calling all North West based Actors! Join Masters trained Voice Coach Rosemary Berkon who's work includes coaching West End actors, Rising star screen actors and associations with prestigious drama schools. Practicing accents can be scary but Rosemary provides a supportive environment to play, practice and process the key skills needed for approaching any accent.
Each workshop will last 1.5 hours, they will include: a practical voice warm up with a chance to settle in to the space and group working. Discussion on the background of the accent. Learning the key features of the accent- the anatomy behind it, Vowels, Consonants and Rhythm. A chance to put the accent into practice with text and receive feedback.
You will leave with the tools you need to continue your own learning journey as well as joyful from the time spent being creative and working on your craft.
Rosemary also offers one to one coaching for those wanting to continue to practice or have individual support.
